Cycling is our passion, not our profession.

Team Background

The Green Arm Bandits are a sub team of the East End Cycling Team (EECT).
EECT has been racing in the tri-state area since the 70's
and has over 50 podium wins to show. We thank the veteran CAT 2 and 3 racers of
EECT who have provided the guidance and advice to help us structure a team.

Team Mission Statement

As a member of the Green Arm Bandits, a strong commitment and dedication to competitive Cat 3, 4 and masters road races is expected. The Bandits focus upon the tri-state and New England’s epic road races, including Battenkill, Bear Mountain, Housatonic, Union Vale, Tokeneke, and the Tour of the Hilltowns.

George Hincapie visit and Interview

During George Hincapie’s special visit and ride with the Green Arm Bandits and friends,  George graciously answered any questions we had about what has been and continues to be a celebrated career of almost 20 years as a professional whose talent, strength, and determination is just as celebrated and coveted by cyclists everywhere.

The GreenArmBandits Ride with George Hincapie

On a special occasion the Green Arm Bandits and a few friends went out for a ride with George Hincapie.

Have you every awakened from a dream and wished the events were reality? Well... recently one of my dreams came true.

My wife, Kristin, and I had been planning my 40th birthday for a while. She advised me that we would be having an open house at our home the night before the celebration as a low key way to kick off the weekend. When my GAB mates started to file in, along with a few other cycling friends, I was looking forward to a nice evening. Then, my best friend Sonny and a ring at the door. In stepped a tall dark featured slim fellow in European dress with a smirk on his face.
