biography

Owen is the Green Arm Bandits team leader responsible for the coordination, communication and team direction. Owen has been competitevely cycling for 5 years. After completing two sprint Triathlons in 2004 he was tired of being "THAT" swimmer that the kyak volunteers kept a close eye on. Switching to just cycling has been really fun. Owen loves the adrenal kick of racing and seeing team tactics come together. He really respects those few cyclists that can combine humility, honesty and support of fellow cyclists and still be very competitive.

* Owen has placed in the top 5 in four NYC Central park races
* Battenkill 2008 - 15th
* 2008 Empire State Games - Proud to qualify and contribute in the four day Open Division event
* 2009 Bear Mountain - 10th place in CAT 4
* 1990 - NYC Marathon finisher
* Ran a sub 5 minute mile BACK IN THE DAY and was on a national record setting quarter mile relay team
